Another summer has gone by and I haven’t been very good about updating the blog, but I really didn’t have much to say and the college blogosphere was fairly quiet as well.
First off, practice the first two weeks will be as follows:
- Wednesday and Thursday at 4:15 in front of the towers (the huge dorms)
- Sunday practice is at 2 p.m. also in front of the towers.
- Bring a white shirt, a dark shirt, water and cleats if you got ’em
That being said, the most important thing to bring to practice is a sense of focus. Everyone needs to be dialed in and on the same page. Last spring started strong and then faded out to some really horrible results. Some of that was the result of unfortunate circumstances, but we brought some of it on ourselves too. Don’t explicitly work on strengths, work on and identify weaknesses.
If you are new and haven’t played in high school, don’t shy away from practicing your flick because others are watching. We understand and don’t expect you to throw it right away.
Other than that, just come out and play hard.
